Splash! From Production Intelligence
Twofour is gearing up to film a primetime celebrity high-diving series next month, fronted by Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley.
Broadcasting live from an Olympic size swimming pool, Splash! (w/t) for ITV1 will feature a team of professional coaches guiding brave celebrities to don their swimwear and perform a range of dives – all in front of a panel of judges.
The series is based on the Dutch format Sterren Springen (internationally known as Celebrity Splash!) where it rated as Holland’s number one entertainment show last season.
Splash! was commissioned by ITV’s Director of Entertainment and Comedy Elaine Bedell and Commissioning Editor Asif Zubairy and will be executive produced for Twofour by Shirley Jones.
