Two popular crime dramas are returning to ITV1, with shooting on both due to be up and running next month.

Scott & Bailey series three is due to start filming mid-November, with Nicola Shindler once again in the exec producer”s chair. The drama, from Red Production Company, follows the professional and personal lives two detectives of Manchester Met”s Major Incident team. Lesley Sharp and Suranne Jones star.

Kudos Film and Television / Wolf Films” seventh run of Law & Order: UK is also in pre-production, with the eight episode run lensing from late November. Successfully transposed from the long running American version, the series follows the procedure from the original crime, usually murder, and arrest, through the legal process to trial.
