Joanna Hogg goes into production on third feature film

Director Joanna Hogg (Unrelated, Archipelago) has started shooting her third movie in West London. The project (as yet untitled) will shoot for six weeks and stars Liam Gillick and Viv Albertine, ex-guitarist of female punk band The Slits.

Hogg’s first two films have both won widespread critical acclaim, Archipelago being nominated in the Best Film category at the 2010 London Film Festival. So far, Hogg has not released any editorial details of the new project. However it is backed by the British Film Institute, BBC Films and Rooks Nest Entertainment. It is being produced by Gayle Griffiths for Wild Horses Film Company.
