Philomena: From Production Intelligence
Acclaimed director Stephen Frears is at the helm of a major new feature, currently in pre-production in London. Philomena is based on Martin Sixsmith’s account of the true story of an Irish woman’s search for her son, a child she had been forced to give away decades earlier.
The screenplay is by Steve Coogan and Jeff Pope, and shooting is due to take place in the UK, Ireland and the US.
