HBO strengthens bond with Tesco's Blinkbox
HBO Home Entertainment UK has struck a deal with Blinkbox, allowing the entire first season of Armando Iannucci’s VEEP available to own and watch instantly. Blinkbox will be the only place in the UK for HBO comedy fans to buy all eight episodes of the series.
Starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld) VEEP follows former Senator Meyer and her staff as they attempt to make their mark without getting tripped up in the day-to-day political games that define Washington DC.
Blinkbox has struck up a strong relationship with HBO. Recent additions to its service include Boardwalk Empire and Game Of Thrones. It also offers True Blood, Band of Brothers and The Pacific. As with all Blinkbox titles, these HBO shows can be viewed via PC, Mac, Smart devices (TV, Blu-Ray players, Set Top boxes), iPad, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
