Coke Zero to Coke hero in new Skyfall TV ad

Coca-Cola Zero has unveiled a new TV commercial to spearhead its partnership with the new James Bond movie Skyfall.

The ad will launch on September 28 ahead of Skyfall”s UK release, which is scheduled to open on October 26.

In the ad, the hero “unlocks the 007” in him by drinking Coke Zero and then performing a series of stunts which are a humorous spoof of the kind of activities Bond is famous for. His ultimate goal is to rescue a girl from three annoying men.

Commenting, Zoe Howorth, Marketing Director for Coca-Cola GB said: “Skyfall is one of this year”s most anticipated film releases, and we are very excited to be a part of it and to continue our relationship with (this) movie franchise.”

The TV ad was created by Publicis France and is being directed by Guy Manwaring. Vizeum handled the media buying. Limited-edition Bond-themed designs will appear on Coke Zero cans and bottles from October.
