Shooting begins this month on Rick Stein's India: The Search For The Perfect Curry for BBC Two.
The 6 x 60 series will see Rick exploring the ethnic influences of Calcutta, the temple food of Tamil Nadu, house-boat hospitality in Kerala, the regal cooking of Rajasthan and the indulgence of India’s gourmet state - The Punjab. Filming will also take place in the UK.
The series was commissioned by Janice Hadlow, Controller, BBC Two and Alison Kirkham, Commissioning Editor for Features and Formats, BBC One and Two. David Pritchard is the producer/director.
