Shooting has begun on the Left Bank Pictures adaptation of Ice Cream Girls for ITV1.

When Poppy and Serena, two young girls, witness a terrible event, their lives are indelibly marked. Twenty years later, their chickens come home to roost, when Poppy wants to set the record straight while Serena is anxious to protect her secret; especially from those closest to her.

The three part drama, adapted from the Dorothy Koomson novel by Katy Brooke, is currently shooting in Ireland.
