Channel 4 is gearing up to air a live, six hour music show in late August entitled House Party.

The show will be free from ad breaks and is set to include cutting edge computer graphics. The one-off show will feature top DJ’s, including Grandmaster Flash and Annie Mac, and will be accepting requests from people at home using social media platforms.

To coincide with this unique music event, Channel 4 will be airing How Clubbing Change the World, fronted and executive produced by The Wire’s Idris Elba. The Fresh One documentary follows on from the success of 2011's How Hip Hop Changed the World, also fronted and produced Elba.

House Party is being made by Acme Films, with Paul Dugdale directing and Jaimie D'Cruz executive producing. How Clubbing Change the World is directed by Sam Bridger.
