Congratulations to all the winners at the 2012 BAFTA Craft Awards last night!

BBC Drama made a strong showing, with Great Expectations and Sherlock (A Scandal in Belgravia) picking up three gongs each. The Shadow Line and The Crimson Petal and The White were also winners in directing and hair & make up respectively, with the harrowing but lavish Birdsong taking the costume award. Cowboy Films’ urban drama for Channel 4, Top Boy, won the accolade for original music.

BBC’s Frozen Planet (To The Ends of the Earth) walked away with awards for editing, sound and photography, whilst Maverick’s Live From The Clinic picked up the digital creativity award. ITV1’s The Cube has seen success of late, and last night was no exception, winning in the entertainment craft team award category for the second year running, beating the likes of Derren Brown: The Experiments, Top Gear and The X Factor.
