Gyspy Franchise Tops Channel 4 VOD Views
Channel 4 catch up and archive Video on Demand content attracted 43 million views in March 2012, across all the platforms on which VOD service 4oD is available.
Big Fat Gypsy Weddings proved the most popular 4oD programme across March attracting 2.8m views. Consistently high ranking 4oD performer Hollyoaks came in second with 2.2m VoD views and was followed closely by teen drama Skins which drew 2.1m VoD views.
US comedy New Girl continued to be a success on 4oD and was the fourth most watched programme in March achieving 2.1m VoD views whilst US drama Homeland brought in the fifth highest number of views with 2.1m.
Drama was the most viewed genre, bringing in over 13m views throughout March. Factual was the second most viewed genre attracting in the region of 10m views.
