Juno Temple Joins Girls Night Out
Juno Temple has joined Alexandra Roach in Ecosse Films’ upcoming royalty-theme production Girls’ Night Out. Temple will play a young princess Margaret while Roach will be princess (now Queen) Elizabeth. The part of Margaret had originally been earmarked for Dakota Fanning but she is now pursuing another project.
Girl’s Night Out tells the story of how the young princesses are allowed out undercover one night to celebrate victory in World War Two. It is being directed by Michael Hoffman from a script by Trevor De Silva.
It was inevitable that another royal project would pop up after the recent success of The King’s Speech. And it’s interesting to see Ecosse involved after the 1997 success of Mrs Brown – a project which featured Queen Victoria. Filming is due to start in the autumn for 2013 release.
