Shooting to begin on Harrigan: From Production Intelligence
Shooting begins in around ten days on Harrigan, starring Stephen Tompkinson as the eponymous Detective Sergeant.
With a screenplay by Arthur McKenzie, the Talltree Pictures feature is set on a fractured and crime-ridden sink estate, during the bleak winter of 1974 – a time of power cuts, coal strikes and the three day week. Vince Woods directs.
The production office is based at the iconic Swan Hunter Building in Wallsend, Newcastle, also recently home to the detective drama, ‘Vera’, the second series of which wrapped in November.
