Gallowgate's Ed Forsdick, 45, Dies Unexpectedly
The TV industry is in shock this week following the untimely death of Ed Forsdick, MD of Ant and Dec production company Gallowgate. Forsdick, just 45, died of a heart attack on holiday. A popular and talented figure, Forsdick came up through the ranks via Channel 4’s Big Breakfast and ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Ant and Dec told The Guardian: "Ed was our Managing Director, our Executive Producer, our Creative Partner but above all our friend. We are devastated. We will miss him enormously. Our thoughts are with Louise, their children and his family.”
