Good news this week for Wimbledon Studios with the decision by Wimbledon Sound, Decode and Fine Food Catering to take up residency.

Now open for business, Wimbledon has four stages of up to 8,000 sq. ft., 50 permanent sets including an exterior street, police stations and hospitals, production offices, a restaurant/coffee bar and costume store. The new tenants join existing companies with expertise in areas such as camera hire, lighting hire, 3D hire, locations, casting, props and graphics.

In terms of its offer, Wimbledon (which used to be home to The Bill) is open to all kinds of productions but views itself as particularly well set up for feature films and TV drama.
