Film4 Backs Project About Bruce Chatwin
There are reports this week that Film4 is backing a feature film about feted travel writer Bruce Chatwin, who came to fame via books like In Patagonia and The Songlines.
The film is based on a script by Hari Kunzru and Katie Kitamura, with Rachael Horovitz and James Wilson as producers.
Film4 chief Tessa Ross said, "Hari and Katie’s kaleidoscopic take hooked us instantly. It captures the passion of Chatwin’s wanderlust with two amazing roles at its core" (the second key role is Chatwin’s wife Elizabeth).
