NAB Show Stats Show Rising Attendance In 2011

The National Association of Broadcasters this week released its attendance figures for the Las Vegas-based 2011 NAB Show, one of the world's largest electronic media events covering filmed entertainment and the development, management and delivery of content across all mediums. According to NAB, the figure for total registered attendees was 92,708, up from 88,044 in 2010.

"Content professionals from around the globe flock to the NAB Show every year, and this year was no exception,” said NAB Executive VP Dennis Wharton. “We're thrilled to host the largest media and entertainment convention annually, and delighted that the NAB Show remains the premiere event for the industry." 25,692 were international attendees. In total, 151 countries were represented and new media attendees came to 1,314.
