Caroline Pope is a London based choreographer & movement director in film, television, theatre, opera, performance art and photographic shoots with actors, singers & dancers.
Recent work includes: The films The Hustle with Anne Hathaway & Rebel Wilson, Swimming With Men with Rob Brydon for director Oliver Parker. Also, Goodbye Christopher Robin with specialist movement coaching for Margot Robbie, Domhnall Gleeson & cast (period choreography & physicality) for director Simon Curtis. Also, for AnOther Magazine movement direction for Photographer Jack Davidson & Stylist/ Editor Nell Kalonji.
Other work includes the ‘Audrey Hepburn’ Galaxy advertisement for Rattling Stick director Daniel Kleinman & a four screen installation film The Corridor for the ‘Daydreaming with Stanley Kubrick’ exhibition at Somerset House for RSA’s Black Dog director Toby Dye.
Various TV series; His Dark Materials, Mr Selfridge, Jekyll and Hyde, You, Me and the Apocalypse, also the preparatory movement coach on Love Nina & the finale dance with Stellan Skarsgard & Nicola Walker on River.
Earlier work includes the films Hot Fuzz, Wuthering Heights & the Oscar nominated short film Syrup.
For theatre, The Night Season at The National Theatre, King Lear for Theatre Royal Bath & the multi awarded Tony & BAFTA shows Medea & The Dolls’ House in the West End & on Broadway. Numerous operas at The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the English National Opera, Opera North, Aldeburgh & last summers acclaimed Elijah Moshinsky production of Macbeth for the Buxton Festival.
Caroline has coached Juliette Binoche, David Bowie, Charlotte Gainsburg, Aiden Gillen, Anne Hathaway, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Margot Robbie, Rachel Weisz, Rebel Wilson, Domhnall Gleeson, Ioan Grufford, Tom Wilkinson, Rebel Wilson & Ant and Dec among many others in a vast range of styles from period to experimental.
