Reports this week that Vic Reeves is to star in a new Channel 4 sitcom pilot alongside Rhys Darby (HBO’;s Flight of the Conchords). Scripted by Matt Morgan, the half-hour pilot is called The Fun Police and will feature in the upcoming Comedy Showcase season.

Based around a small town Health & Safety team, The Fun Police will be overseen by Ash Atalla, (The Office, The IT Crowd) and produced by Atalla’;s company Roughcut TV. The pilot will be recorded in front of a live audience at BBC TV Centre on May 28.
