Paddington 2 eyes autumn filming

The sequel to the 2014 hit Paddington is moving forward, with an autumn shoot currently on the cards.
The little bear from darkest Peru made his big screen debut – with the aid of Ben Whishaw”s voice – in 2014, starring alongside Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi and Nicole Kidman.
The feature went to take a whopping $250m worldwide, making it the highest-grossing non-Hollywood family film. The follow-up is once again backed by financier-distributor giant StudioCanal.
David Heyman of Heyday Films is returning to produce Paddington”s next outing, alongside director Paul King who will be working from a screenplay he wrote with Simon Farnaby.
