The feature doc is in production at the same time as Series Two of reality show At Home with the Furys

Netflix is in production on a feature doc about British professional boxer Tyson Fury.

With the working title Fury, the film explores the story behind the larger-than-life sporting figure, accessing his close circle of family, friends and advisors to examine his personal struggles, complicated relationships and key career comeback moments.

All3Media’s Optomen is behind the feature; the company is also working with the boxer on a second series of ob-doc show At Home with the Furys, currently in production at Netflix.

The first, nine-episode run of the reality series largely garnered praise for its depiction of Fury’s mental-health challenges.

Lucy Wilcox directs Fury; the executive producer is George Waldrum and the creative directors are Nick Hornby and Tina Flintoff.
