Production is underway in Wales on a new revenge thriller feature, Uncle

Joe Marcantonio is in the director’s chair, guiding a cast that includes Morfydd Clark and Micheal Ward in Wales for his upcoming thriller feature.

Co-written by Marcantonio and Owynne Dawkins, Uncle tells the story of a teenage girl and her uncle who embark on a brutal mission of revenge and retribution following the murder of their family.

Filming will take place in various locations across Wales, with the project being produced by Rebecca Knapp and Matthew Wakeham of Auroral Pictures. The film has received backing from Ffilm Cymru Wales and the Welsh government through Creative Wales.

Ward, known for his performances in Empire of Light and Top Boy, has taken on a role that was originally intended for Sope Dìrísù. Clark recently completed filming for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power 3 in the UK.
