Matthew Vaughn confirms Kingsman 3 filming schedule
Director Matthew Vaughn has confirmed that filming on Kingsman 3 will commence next year.
As reported on various outlets that attended the New York Comic Con event (including Deadline, Screen Rant and Digital Spy), Vaughn was at the gathering primarily to discuss and reveal footage on Argylle, his upcoming spy film starring Henry Cavill and Bryce Dallas Howard.
But while he had the floor, the director also talked about his past career and his upcoming projects, including Kingsman 3 and a reboot of Kick-Ass, both of which he is working on now with the former due to begin production next year.
The Kingsman spy action comedy franchise, based on the comic book by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, began in 2014 with Kingsman: The Secret Service, with Vaughan helming from a screenplay he wrote with Jane Goldman. The film launched Welsh actor Taron Egerton – who played Eggsy – into the A-lister sphere.
The sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, came out in 2017, with Vaughn back in the director’s chair, and he took the helm again for the 2021 prequel The King’s Man.
