Masters of the Universe wraps UK shoot

The film stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man/Prince Adam
Masters of the Universe wraps a four-month UK shoot today, 13 June.
The big-screen iteration is from Amazon MGM and Mattel and stars Nicholas Galitzine as He-Man/Prince Adam. Idris Elba, Alison Brie and Camila Mendes co-star.
Travis Knight was in the director’s chair, calling the shots from a screenplay by Chris Butler. Escape Artists produces with Mattel Films for Amazon MGM. Idris Elba, Alison Brie and Camila Mendes co-star.
Amazon MGM’s UK footprint is hefty – the streamer has a residency at the newly-expanded Shepperton Studios, where this week production got underway on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power S3.

Galitzine’s future projects include starring alongside Marisa Abela in The Return of Stanley Atwell, a new feature from Hera Pictures and writer/director Brian Welsh, based on a story by Steven Soderbergh, who will executive produce.
