Lime Pictures launches new Liverpool studio

The studio provides for scripted and unscripted content production
Lime Pictures has launched L16, a new, purpose-built studio within its Liverpool campus.
L16, named after its postcode in the Childwall area of Liverpool, will offer space for scripted and unscripted content, as it can house studio audiences for potential game shows and chat shows.
It also has post-production facilities and the option to use existing sets. There are also green rooms, edit suites, catering, a hair and make-up suite and parking.
The first production set to film in the new space is Girl Troop vs Aliens, a CBBC scripted comedy-drama from Lime Kids, producers of Free Rein and Zero Chill.
Lime Pictures MD John Whittle said: “We are delighted to offer first class unrivalled production facilities right here in Liverpool.
“This investment strengthens the North West’s role as a true powerhouse in the UK’s creative and broadcast industries. From high end dramas to global streaming content, we are ready to support the next wave of storytelling.
“With decades of experience in premium drama, we have the sets, the in-house talent, and the infrastructure to deliver an exceptional production experience.”
