Leadership & management essentials course for HETV freelancers

ScreenSkills is hosting an online course in leadership and management essentials, for freelancers working in high-end TV (HETV), on 10 August.
The course is free and open to experienced HoDs and managers in HETV production, post and VFX who are increasingly required to run larger teams and manage staff.
The course has been designed to help them to get the best from their teams and help them address underperformance or bad behaviour.
It will also address how to deal with allegations of harassment and bullying, how to work inclusively and improve the diversity of productions while staying within the law. The deadline for applications is 29 July.
Topics covered include:
- What is leadership?
- Team dynamics and personalities
- Culture: working inclusively
- Managing performance
- Addressing bullying, harassment and discrimination
- Looking after ourselves and our teams
This bespoke course is owned by ScreenSkills High-end Television Skills Fund and was designed by industry trainer Addie Orfila. It is delivered by a team of experienced industry experts and/or executive coaches.
This session, which the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund supports with contributions from UK high-end TV productions, will take place online via Zoom – click here for full details of how to apply
