IKEA creates epic new ad

IKEA has put out a visually striking ad called The Joy of Storage, in which hundreds of T-shirts swoop across land and sea.
The garments behave like a flock of birds, swirling and pitching over snow-capped mountains, frosty lakes, pine forests, stormy grey seas and fields of crops as they rise and dive to avoid danger.

They finally fly through the bedroom window of a suburban house, before alighting at their final destination – a series of shelves, drawers and rails – and therefore restoring a sense of order.
Director Dougal Wilson (whose credits include the phenomenally successful John Lewis Christmas ads, The Journey and Monty the Penguin) directed the spot for prolific production company Blink; the creative agency is Mother London.
The spot was filmed on various stunning locations, including Scotland and Sweden.
