The Walking Dead star filmed the drama in Scotland last summer

First-look images have been released of Coldwater, a new ITV drama from Sister starring Andrew Lincoln, Ewen Bremner, Indira Varma and Eve Myles.

The six-part thriller, filmed around a year ago in Scottish locations including Dennistoun, Strathlaven and Dunlop, is written, created and executive produced by David Ireland. Lee Haven Jones and Andrew Cumming share directing duties.

Chris Fry, Alice Tyler, Lydia Hampson and Jane Featherstone executive produce for Sister along with Ireland and Lincoln; Brian Coffey produces.

Set in the fictional Scottish village of Coldwater, Lincoln plays John, a repressed man who is shocked to find himself in middle age, secretly raging at his life as a stay-at-home dad, who moves his family to the rural idyll away from London, where he is subsequently befriended by seemingly upstanding neighbour Tommy (Bremner) – who is harbouring horrifying secrets of his own…
