Filming gets underway on Collateral
Filming gets underway this week on David Hare”s Collateral, starring Carey Mulligan.
The four-part BBC drama is from The Forge and marks Hare”s returns to television: his work was last seen on the small screen in 2014 when he adapted the Johnny Worricker Spy trilogy for BBC Two.
Collateral is also for the BBC – little else is known about the drama”s content and setting other than as described on Deadline as “a modern-day state of the nation project which takes place over four days”.

It”s a busy time for The Forge as they have two other projects in production concurrently. John Brownlow”s adaptation of Jessie Burton”s The Miniaturist recently begun a two-month shoot with filming taking place largely in London plus a brief stint in the Netherlands.
Coming towards the end of its 11-week shoot is Ayub Khan-Din”s The ABC, a major new drama set in a northern comprehensive school which has been shooting in Yorkshire since late January.
