Hobbs and Shaw, a new Fast & Furious spin-off, is currently setting up a production base in the UK with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham set to star.

The pair will reprise their eponymous roles of Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw in the film that will be directed by David Leitch whose Deadpool sequel recently opened to a weekend UK box office of around £7.7m.

Leitch will be calling the shots from a screenplay by writer/producer Chris Morgan, who has penned the last five films in the Furious franchise.
