Caro Lakos joins Film Barking and Dagenham

The borough is home to two major MBS Group studios
Caro Lakos has taken up a new role as film manager at Film Barking and Dagenham, following several years at 3 Mills Studios.
Lakos’ remit will largely be to grow and nurture production activity in the east London borough, that includes the large, newly-opened Eastbrook Studios and its sister site The Wharf Studios.
Lakos, who joins from 3 Mills as client and sales manager, said on LinkedIn: “The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is one of London’s most exciting boroughs for film, home to incredible locations, two major The MBS Group, Production Services and Solutions Studios (The Wharf Studios and Eastbrook Studios London), and a fantastic team eager to make things happen.
“I’m excited for this new chapter and look forward to seeing what’s ahead. Watch this space!”
Film Barking and Dagenham was set up in 2014 to support the growth of the east London production sector. Recent, high-profile projects to have filmed in the area include Criminal Record; Heads of State; Deep Cover; Gangs of London and Red Eye.
