Broadcast Awards now open for entries

The Broadcast Awards 2025 have been launched, with the winners to be presented with their trophies on Wednesday 5 February at London’s JW Marriott Grosvenor House on Park Lane.
The awards qualifying period is from 23 September 2023 – 27 September 2024, with the deadline for entries being 27 September 2024; the shortlist due to be announced in December.
Take a look at last year’s winners which included Black Ops, The Piano, The 1% Club, I Am Ruth, I Kissed A Boy, Once Upon A Time In Northern Ireland, Dreaming Whilst Black and Lyra, while the likes of Happy Valley, Casualty and Scam Interceptors helped BBC1 scoop channel of the year.
Studio Lambert was named indie of the year, with Curious Films the emerging indie of the year winner. RunVT landed best post production house.
Garden Studios is sponsoring the Emerging Indie of the Year category, and have added an incentive for entrants. The winner of the award will additionally receive £20,000 in value of tech-enabled production space and services, with all finalists benefitting from complimentary VP producer training.
This year’s other sponsors include BBC Studioworks, Dock 10, Garden Studios, Iron Mountain Media & Archive Services, Maidstone Studios, NEP, Pinewood TV Studios and Sargent-Disc.
