Ben Browning becomes president of global film, Pathé

Browning will relocate from LA to London in his new role

Pathé is relaunching its English-language film business and has named Ben Browning co-CEO of Pathé UK and the company’s president of global film.

Browning most recently served as president of motion pictures at FilmNation and will relocate from Los Angeles to London. He will work alongside co-CEO of Pathé UK Faith Penhale to expand the studio’s film and television activities. Both report to Pathé Films chairman Ardavan Safaee.

Browning served as president of motion pictures at FilmNation since 2023 and was appointed president of production and acquisitions in 2014.

Upcoming Pathé productions include Florian Zeller’s Bunker starring Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem; Guillaume Canet’s Karma with Marion Cotillard; and Arthur Harari’s The Unknown starring Léa Seydoux.
