Bank of Dave The Sequel begins Lancashire shoot
Filming gets underway today (26 February) on the Netflix sequel to 2023 feature Bank of Dave, with shooting taking place largely in Burnley and Leeds.
Based on a true story, the first film centred on Burnley local Dave Fishwick, a working-class, self-made millionaire who took on the capital’s financial establishment to set up a community bank to help local businesses.
The second film sees Dave take on a new enemy – payday lenders…
The Lancashire Telegraph reports that filming will also take place in the Ribble Valley, Nelson and Colne, as well as at the real-life Sabden home of Dave Fishwick himself.
Future Artists Entertainment and Tempo Productions are behind the sequel, with Matt Williams and Piers Tempest producing for each respectively.
