Andrew Scott, Lena Dunham among cast of A24 comedy

The large cast on the London-set comedy also includes Blake Harrison and Amelia Dimoldenberg
Cameras have rolled on Channel 4 comedy It Gets Worse, starring Emily Fairn, Olive Gray and Leo Reich.
Andrew Scott and Lena Dunham are among the large, supporting cast, along with Blake Harrison, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Vicki Pepperdine, Sean Delaney, Dane Williams, India Mullen, John Tothill and more.
It Gets Worse was commissioned for Channel 4 by Charlie Perkins, head of comedy, and is from A24. Sam Pinnell is the producer and the series is directed by Mounia Akl. Matthew Lewis is the DoP.
The 6 x 30’ show is written and created by Reich. It follows Ethan, Abi, and Sam, best friends – and dysfunctional roommates – since university.
But after a year living in London, they find their landlord is selling up, and they have achieved pretty much nothing, with humiliating jobs and sketchy love lives. The friends embark on a desperate attempt to improve their lot, whatever it takes…
It Gets Worse will stream in Canada exclusively on Crave, as a Crave Original.
A24 has a burgeoning development slate in the UK, including a Liverpool FC drama, Apple TV drama The Husbands, starring Juno Temple and a big-screen adaptation of video game Elden Ring, with DNA Films & TV.
