A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder S2 wraps south-west shoot this week

Filming took place in a variety of south-west locations
Filming wraps later this week (w/c 14 July) on the second series of A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder for BBC Three.
The first series premiered in summer 2024, becoming one of BBC iPlayer’s most watched titles with 16-24 years old and BBC Three’s highest rating drama since its relaunch.
As with the first series, shooting on S2 took place in a variety of south-west locations for just over three months.
Based on Holly Jackson’s best-selling YA novels, the 6 x 45’ drama is produced by Moonage Pictures in co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo.
Series Two was commissioned for the BBC by Lindsay Salt, director of BBC Drama, and Fiona Campbell, controller Youth Audience, BBC Three and BBC iPlayer. It has been adapted for screen by author Jackson and Poppy Cogan and is produced by Sophie Klein. Asim Abbasi is director for block one and Jill Robertson is director for block two.
Executive producers are Matthew Read, Simon Crawford Collins and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures; Lucy Richer, Danielle Scott-Haughton and Katherine Bond for the BBC; alongside Jackson and Cogan. BBC Studios is handling global sales.
Emma Myers returns as Pip Fitz-Amobi with Zain Iqbal, Henry Ashton, Asha Banks, Yali Topol Margalith and Jude Morgan-Collie also back on board.
Among the new cast in S2 are Misia Butler, Eden Hambelton-Davies, Jack Rowan, Anna Brindle, Peter Sullivan, Freddie Thorp, Lu Corfield, Stephanie Street and Freddie England.

Writer Jackson said: “I’m so excited to welcome some new and incredibly talented actors into the AGGGTM family.
“Eden is sensational as our Jamie, his presence felt throughout, even though he’s missing. Misia is the perfect Stanley Forbes, delivering a truly heart-wrenching performance. And Jack as Charlie Green is simply extraordinary: I had to stand and clap at the monitors. Just you wait.”
