Keira Knightley shoots Miss World film

Keira Knightley A new feature based on the true story of the first black woman to win Miss World is now in pre-production readying to film in London

Misbehaviour also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jessie Buckley and centres on the 1970 beauty pageant, held in London and compered by Bob Hope.

The widely-watched show was stormed by a group of activists from the Women’s Liberation Movement who invaded the stage at the Royal Albert Hall during the live transmission.  

Once the broadcast resumed, the winner was subsequently announced as Miss Grenada, Jennifer Hosten, not Miss Sweden who had been previously tipped as the favourite.  

Misbehaviour comes from Left Bank Pictures with Andy Harries and Rebecca Frayn exec-ing. Philippa Lowthorpe directs.
