Cats film eyes end of year shoot

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s original musical opened in the West End in 1981. Based on TS Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, it was produced by Cameron Mackintosh, directed by Trevor Nunn and choreographed by Gillian Lynne.
It is currently the sixth-longest-running West End show and the fourth-longest-running on Broadway.
Working Title is currently busy in production on the Danny Boyle-directed feature written by Richard Curtis, which is filming in various UK locations including Suffolk, Norfolk, Liverpool, London and Cardiff.
Among the many films on the hefty development slate at the British production company are adaptations of Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca, The Famous Five and Guys and Dolls.
