Sheffield-based Warp Films has hired producer Amy O’Hara to shore up its film division.
O’Hara, who takes up her new post in January 2026, will work closely with Warp founder and CEO Mark Herbert to develop new film projects and nurture both established and emerging talent.
She will also develop a select portfolio of filmmaker-led TV series with Herbert and chief creative officer Emily Feller.
O’Hara joins from Film4, where she has served as development and production executive since 2021. Her recent credits include Rose Glass’ ‘Love Lies Bleeding’, John Crowley’s ‘We Live in Time’, and debuts such as Karan Kandhari’s ‘Sister Midnight’. Prior to that, she was talent executive for BFI Network at Film Hub North.

O’Hara (pictured left) said of her new role: “Warp Films are a huge part of the reason I wanted to work in the film industry. Having collaborated with them closely during my time at Film4, I have continually admired their integrity, tenacity and consistent ability to work with talent who want to challenge and excite.
“I can’t wait to build on and elevate their exceptional legacy in the feature film space from the amazing city I call home”
Herbert added: “Amy’s appointment comes at a key moment for Warp as we expand our focus on feature filmmaking. Her creative instincts and experience make her a fantastic addition to the team, as we build on Warp’s legacy of bold, distinctive storytelling.
“We want Warp to be home to the best and most exciting filmmakers, producing ambitious films for both theatrical release and the streamers.”
Warp Films’ recent television credits include high-profile projects including Adolescence and Reunion.
