Tina Fey developing UK-set Sky comedy

Four Seasons and 30 Rock creator working up project for pay-TV giant and Comcast sibling Peacock
Four Seasons co-creator Tina Fey is developing a UK-set comedy for Sky and Peacock, Broadcast understands.
It is understood NBCUniversal label Universal TV is producing, with Fey writing alongside her her long-time collaborators Meredith Scardino (Girls 5eva) and Robert Carlock (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt).
Details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but Fey divulged at the Edinburgh TV Festival last week that it is called The Cliffhanger.
Discussing her career with Graham Norton at the annual industry get-together, she revealed the US slowdown enabled her and Four Seasons co-creators Lang Fisher and Tracy Wigfield to assemble a writers’ room of top talent for the recently renewed Netflix hit.
Fey, who has a deal with Universal TV, has a long-running relationship with NBCU, starting her TV career writing and appearing on NBC classic comedy title Saturday Night Live, before creating sitcom 30 Rock for the US giant.
She also exec produced Scardino’s Girls5eva for NBC-run streamer Peacock, which ran for two series, before it was cancelled and subsequently picked up for a third series on Netflix.
