Sheridan Smith ITV drama gears up
Sheridan Smith’s next ITV drama, Clean Break, is gearing up for an early autumn shoot.
The 6 x 60 centres on Sam, an ordinary, working class woman who is caught between two worlds – the everyday life of being a mum and the darker, dangerous world of insider trading.
In her life as a zero-hours contract office cleaner, Sam struggles with an online gambling addiction when she realises that she has access to potentially life-changing stock market information.
The production marks the first TV drama from writer Mark Marlow and has Lewis Arnold at the helm to direct. Jane Featherstone executive produces for Sister Pictures.
