Martin Clunes to film Manhunt in London
Martin Clunes will film true-life crime drama Manhunt on location in London in the spring of next year.
Buffalo Pictures, co-owned by Clunes, will produce the drama.
The story is based on the memoirs of Metropolitan Police detective DCI Colin Sutton and his hunt for the killer of 22-year-old Frenchwoman Amelie Delagrange in London in the summer of 2004.
“With the full co-operation of ex-DCI Colin Sutton, Manhunt dramatises his fight to find Amelie's killer Levi Bellfield,” said Polly Hill, the head of drama for ITV.
“It is a powerful, compelling script from Ed Whitmore, which illustrates how a dedicated and resilient police officer was determined to leave no stone unturned.”
Buffalo Pictures also produces Clunes’ comedy drama series Doc Martin, which has reached its seventh series this year on ITV.
