M: I 6 heads to film in the UK
The latest in the canon of high-octane Mission: Impossible spy thrillers starring Tom Cruise is set to film in the UK next year.
M: I 6 - Mission Impossible is the next in the series of features with Cruise playing Ethan Hunt – a franchise which has grossed more than $2bn worldwide to date.
The films already have a history of shooting in the UK, with the first in 1996 and the fifth in 2014 both using an extensive range of locations including Tower Bridge, Blenheim Palace and St Pancras station.
Christopher McQuarrie directs M: I 6 from his own screenplay, with Tom Cruise once again joining the producing team which includes JJ Abrams and David Ellison.
