Kate Mara in UK for Luke Scott's Morgan
House of Cards and 24 actress Kate Mara will be in the UK to film her starring role in Morgan, the feature debut from director Luke Scott.
The sci-fi thriller also stars Boyd Holbrook, Toby Jones, Anya Taylor-Joy and Paul Giamatti, and centres on a risk management consultant who is tasked with assessing an artificial being - with extermination in mind.
Scott, son of Ridley, is calling the shots from Seth Owen's screenplay, which was on the 2014 Black List. The director has worked on several high profile projects before, most recently as second unit director on Biblical epic Exodus: Gods and Kings. Â
Shooting on Morgan begins shortly after the bank holiday weekend; locations are on Production Intelligence along with the names of the producers, UPM and production designer.
