Fantastic Beasts 2 eyes summer shoot
Hot on the heels of the box office success of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the second in the franchise of five planned features is heading towards a summer shoot in the UK.
The first film, starring Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, was released in November last year, and went on to gross $797m worldwide. The feature was set in 1920s New York, and used Liverpool as its only non-studio location to double for the American city.

Eddie Redmayne is also reportedly attached to star in The Last Days of Night, from Black Bear Pictures producers Teddy Schwarzman, Ido Ostrowsky and Nora Grossman, the team behind The Imitation Game.
It the second film to explore the race between Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse to provide electricity to the American people. The other project based around the same theme, The Current War, stars Benedict Cumberbatch and is now filming in the UK.
