Endor makes feature film debut
The production company behind Esio Trot is working on its first feature film for theatrical release.
From Endor Productions, The Dark Outside is a gothic horror set in Snowdonia during the industrial revolution. It comes from writer/director William McGregor, whose recent credits as director include Poldark and One of Us, a new four-part drama for BBC One.
The Dark Outside marks the first feature film from busy Endor. Co-founded by Hilary Bevan Jones, the company has produced many TV dramas including Partners in Crime, the six-part adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Tommy and Tuppence crime stories, and Esio Trot starring Dustin Hoffman and Judi Dench.
The film has been developed with funding from the BFI and is listed on Production Intelligence with details including more on the shooting schedule, location and casting director. Subscribers should follow the project as we will be updating over the coming weeks.
