Colette to film next month
The producers of Carol are teaming up once again on a biopic of French novelist Colette, with filming to take place in the UK and Hungary from next month.
Colette is reportedly set to star Keira Knightley in the title role of the writer who, best known for her books Gigi (1944) and Cheri (1920), was nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1948.
The film will be directed by Wash Westmoreland from a screenplay he wrote with Richard Glatzer. Elizabeth Karlsen, Stephen Woolley and Christine Vachon of Number 9 Films and Killer Films respectively are among the producing team.
