Zig Zag, The Mews & Sumners Join iCity Bid

iCity, a subsidiary of Infinity, has unveiled the names of partners which will be involved in its bid to take over the Olympic broadcast and press centre after the London 2012 Games is over.

They include indie producer Zig Zag, post-production firms The Mews and Sumners, data firm Aframe, animation studio Cosgrove Hall Fitzpatrick and services firm The DIA Group.

iCity is one of three organisations aiming to take over the site and turn it into a state of the art technology centre. It is up against Oxylane Group and UK Fashion Hub, with the successful bidder to be named this summer. If successful, Manchester-based Sumners is hoping to forge direct links between iCity and Salford-based MediaCity UK.
