BBC Wales: New Children’s Drama: From Production Intelligence
Roath Lock Studios, the recently-constructed drama hub of BBC Cymru Wales, is to be home to a major new children’s drama series, due to go into preproduction in a couple of weeks.
The studios already provide a permanent and purpose-built home to four popular BBC dramas: ‘Doctor Who’, ‘Casualty’, ‘Upstairs Downstairs’ and ‘Pobol y Cwm’.
The shiny new show, ‘Aliens Vs Wizards’, comes from ‘Doctor Who’ showrunner Russell T Davies, and shoots from April to July. It is produced in association with Fremantle Enterprises.
