BBC Three drama Clique in pre-production
BBC Three drama Clique is now in pre-production readying to start filming in Edinburgh next month.
Created by Jess Brittain, who is joined by writers Kirstie Swain and Milly Thomas, Clique centres on childhood soulmates Holly and Georgia at a Scottish university.
When Georgia is drawn into an elite clique of alpha girls, Holly becomes concerned for her friend as Georgia begins behaving erratically as she is embroiled in a corrupt, sordid world.
Clique is a co-production between BBC Drama and Balloon Entertainment, the production company founded by Harry Enfield and Skins writer Bryan Elsley in 2012.
